My review:

The second book of the series, and this was brutal. Not in a bloody way, but in a way that makes you re-evaluate the things that you have done, second guess the decisions that you will do.

Dani was hurt so badly and when I was reading the 1st book I wanted to yank Caden and hit him several times. It was a painful point. The way she is living, I know. For the sake of her kids, she will, but for her? She was killing herself slowly, and I have been in that state.

With all the hurt and the pain, I was so happy when he finally saw that was happening, and by the Fates, his actions, and his words, they were the best kind. I had to stop reading at some point because it was such a poignant scene. When Caden was apologizing to his son, Nic, it was the most priceless moment in the book.

Each POV was like an opening to their world. From the Kal to the the people on the book, you can see the dynamics and the revelation? I was also heartbreaking.

I look forward to reading the other books in the series. And by the looks of things, it will be the lion alpha….or Mackenzie..either way, I will enjoy it!!

My Review

This is the 9th book of the series and as far as I am concerned he needed to be mated! And watching him fall was the best thing!

Okay so, he have fallen like a long time ago, but it was nothing compared to what he felt with Gabriella. The intensity is out of this world. There was too much and he needed that control, but man, oh man, the way they met was creepy as heck!

I love that Gabby has that air of innocence. It helped ground Q, or more or less it helped him try to curve his alphaness…which lasted like a while. It was also heart breaking that she had endured alot. Being on the run is not the best way to live, and yet I admire her doing the things that she have done.

Each page is full of humor and food! Yes, FOOD!!! Who would have thought that Q likes food. I mean, When Hunter was cooking, I find myself, wanting to eat too. From table manners, and how they conduct themselves, it was like they have know each other for a long time, and yet the three of them were just together for like 5 days or less.

The battle scene? It was like a wow and a eww factor, but I got to admit, I like that she had to drink that disgusting brew. I cried thought, when she felt that she is unable to bear Q’s kids. It cuts me deep.

The last part? I will look forward to what will happen to Hunter, Viktor and the witch.
