Barefoot in White (The Barefoot Bay Brides Trilogy #1)

Barefoot in White
Barefoot in White by Roxanne St. Claire

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was actually trying to stay away from reading PNR so i decided to read this book.

And I loved it!

The setting, the whole plot and the over all theme. I was wonderfully written.

I can really understand what Willow was going thru, and the pain that she was trying to ignore. Her belief that she finally happy was a very shallow one, and it was a as the book said, a band-Aid of sort. Nick on the other hand, has his own demons to deal with. The way the his book was written was a very good way to exorcise what happened to him in the past. But with Willow, she needs to face the said person.

The over effect of the story is not lost. The lesson that was imparted even better, and the lines, they were worth crying for.
